Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is calling national cybersecurity a shared responsibility. Napolitano says securing cyberspace is beyond the ability of any one agency, or the entire government to handle. She calls on law enforcement, the private sector and even members of the public to do their part. Napolitano speaking at the University of California Berkeley’s College of Engineering. Government Computer News reports, she outlined DHS efforts to improve IT security and cooperative efforts with the private sector.
