Marketing could be the new required course for would be cyber criminals. Microsoft’s 10th Security Intelligence Report shows a shift in criminal activity online. Infosecurity.com reports there’s been an increase in the use of marketing approaches to steal money and personal information. Attackers lure in victims with what look like legitimate marketing campaigns and product promotions. The reports finds six of the top 10 malware attacks this year fall into these categories.
