Malaysia tries to engage hackers to defeat them

Malaysia said it wants to get to know a bigger circle of hackers in an effort to channel their dis-satisfaction and grievances in a positive way.

The government of Malaysia has a plan to defeat hackers – engage them and put their skills to good use. The Star Online reports that Malaysia’s deputy science, technology and innovation minister believes the entire cybersecurity structure, including its National Security Council, police, and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission must be friendly with hackers.

They want to get to know a bigger networking circle among hackers and engage with them so they can channel their dis-satisfaction and grievances in a positive way.
