On this week’s edition of On DoD, an update on the Army’s efforts to modernize its tactical networks. Our guest is Maj. Gen. Dan Hughes, the Army’s Program Executive Officer for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical. Hughes spoke with Jared Serbu at the Association of the U.S. Army’s annual conference in Washington, describing the Army’s strategy to make its battlefield systems more interoperable, more integrated and more intuitive to the soldiers who will end up using them.
