They show that the two agencies asked the White House for guidance on cooperating with the film’s director and screenwriter.
The papers suggest a government translator who was on the raid and top intelligence officials met with the film’s team.
Screenwriter Mark Boal told Reuters the documents showed public-affairs finagling and filmmakers trying to do their homework. “Zero Dark Thirty” is scheduled for release later this year, after the presidential election.
