GSA continues green initiatives with LEED Gold requirement

The General Services Administration now requires that building projects on GSA-owned building achieve a LEED Gold certification in their construction. Previously, GSA encouraged but did not require the Gold certification.

Timothy Hughes, counsel at the law firm of Bean, Kinney & Korman, wrote about the new policy in Washington Business Journal. He told the DorobekINSIDER that the move follows up the greening initiatives already started by GSA.
