Transition, Emergency Management Style

Many eyes are on the transition at the Homeland Security Department and their component agencies. The former Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Michael Brown, talked about the priorities the Obama administration–and the career execs at FEMA and DHS–should be thinking about. We also talked about how to handle protocol in case there’s an emergency during the transition itself.

Ready to Lend a Hand

Career Senior Executives are standing by, ready and willing to help the Obama administration. The Senior Executives Association released a report today called “A Message to the 44th President: Meeting Your Objectives through Partnership with the Career Executive Service.” SEA General Counsel Bill Bransford reviewed some of the major concepts in the report.
