Post Office Problems

Federal News Radio told you about the $2.8 billion shortfall at the US Postal Service for fiscal 2008. That information came out of a meeting of the USPS Board of Governors last week. After the meeting, Federal News Radio’s Max Cacas talked to Alan Kessler, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Postal Service, and USPS Chief Financial Officer Glen Walker.

Overseeing the Overseer

The man in charge of the Treasury Department’s Troubled Asset Relief Program is Neel Kashkari, Interim Assistant Secretary for Financial Stability and Assistant Secretary for International Economics and Development at the agency.
