The biggest contractor you’ve never heard of

When it comes to federal contracting, you probably know the big names -- like Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

When it comes to federal contracting, you probably know the big names — like Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

But you may not know about one called NISH.

That’s a non-profit agency that employs people with significant disabilities by winning federal contracts for goods and services. It’s one of two agencies in the Ability One program for people with disabilities.

Chief Operating Officer Dennis Fields said NISH may be one of the biggest contractors … you’ve never heard of.
