There probably won’t be a comprehensive national cybersecurity protection bill this year.

But Speaker of the House John Boehner has charged a special task force to come up with a set of cybersecurity recommendations that encompass the interests of the nine different House committees that have jurisdiction in IT protection, CRM News reports.

A major goal of this new task force is to break up the comprehensive cyber bill into four separate components each of which could be addressed by an individual bill.
