“Weaponized Word” files are starting to tear up Mac computers, InfoSecurity reports.
The documents take advantage of an existing weakness in the Mac version of Microsoft Office. A hacker who successfully executes the hack is able to take control of a victim’s system and able to install malicious software.
The malware might coming from a Chinese group that’s been launching phishing attacks against the Tibetan government.
