TSA finds 20 percent more firearms in carry-on bags
Transportation Security Administration agents discovered 2,653 firearms in carry-on bags at checkpoints last year.
Firearms were found in carry-on baggage at 236 airports in 2015, with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport agents finding the most, 153.

2. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): 144
3. George Bush Intercontinental Airport – Houston (IAH): 100
4. Denver International Airport (DEN): 90
5. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX): 73
6. Nashville International Airport (BNA): 59
7. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA): 59
8. Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL): 57
9. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS): 54
10. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU): 52
