The Federal Housing Authority needs help.

That’s according to Shaun Donovan, Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

He recently told a Senate appropriations subcommittee that FHA needs additional resources so it can continue to help people trying to borrow money for mortgages.

Phil Muray is Acting Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Single Family Housing and tells us what this actually means in terms of dollars — and why FHA needs help in the first place.

FHA needs more resources: money, IT, and personnel. He says any job postings can be found at usajobs.gov.
