PSC voices concerns about Defense Authorization Bill

WFED\'s Max Cacas reports.

An industry group is weighing in on acquisition-related provisions in the Defense Authorization Bill.

Both the full House of Representatives and the Senate Armed Services Committees recently approved different versions of the Defense Authorization Bill.

The two versions contain provisions that directly affect how the Pentagon buys everything from paper clips to diesel oil to big weapons systems.

And now, a trade group representing acquisition professionals is weighing in with their concerns.

Federal News Radio’s Max Cacas spoke to Stan Soloway, president of the Professional Services Council, about the two Defense Bills, and Soloway explains why the PSC is concerned.
