Jeffrey Zients President Obama’s chief performance officer, has released a self-assessment of how the federal government is doing so far. It’s called The Accountable Government Initiative: An update on our Performance Management Agenda.

So what’s the result? Jonathan Breul is the executive director of the IBM center for the business of government. He says it’s important to take a step back.
