The Defense Department plans to have 133 cyber mission teams at full operational capability by the end of 2018. Of those, 40 are in the Navy. From fighters to carriers to submarines, the Navy wants to network its weapons systems so their warfighting capability is greater than the sum of its parts. That task falls to Rear Adm.
