The military has assembled a team of 120 people to respond to the publication of about 400,000 documents related to the Iraq war effort in expectation that whistle-blower website WikiLeaks will publish the documents possibly as early as Monday.

BBC reports the documents are thought to include information about battle activity, Iraqi security forces and civilian casualties. The Pentagon said it wants the documents back to avoid potentially damaging information being released.

After all the attention over the release, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the summer of thousands of documents related to the war in Afghanistan didn’t really reveal much of anything.

Secrecy News reports Gates’ assessment of the Wikileaks publication is revealed in a letter to the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Gates wrote the letter following a thorough review by the Pentagon.
