Military still struggles with PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder continues to be a very difficult issue for the military. It’s hard for some physicians to even agree on what PTSD is, while some soldiers still deny that it exists.
According to the Department of Veterans Affair website, about7 to 8 percent of the population has experienced PTSD at some point in their lives.
Dave Philipps, a reporter for the Colorado Springs Gazette and the author “Lethal Warriors,” wrote about how one Army unit in Colorado dealt with PTSD.
Phillips told the DorobekINSIDER there’s a terrible irony illustrated by the disorder and the way that wars are fought today.
