The Defense Department has been buffeted by the economy, by the debt crisis of the federal government and by changing mission requirements.
“What we see is a trend toward DoD organizations needing greater degrees of analytical maturity in order to drive those important decisions they need to make regarding their mission,” said Jim Hagy, director the Defense Human Capital practice at Deloitte.
Hagy told The Federal Drive with Tom Temin that DoD must rethink its human capital strategy to make sure the people it has are in the right places as these shifts take place.
