In an unusual turn of events, Iran has joined the U.S. in bombing ISIL, but it’s not something the U.S. set up. “It’s the Iraqi airspace and the Iraqi’s to de-conflict. We are not coordinating with nor are we de-conflicting with Iranian military,” said Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby. The Iranians are using 1960s era American-made F-4 Phantoms to attack ISIL.
