Ms. Linda L. Williams currently serves as the Deputy Director, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Technology and Investment. In this capacity, Ms. Williams assists the DLA Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in promoting technology standardization, awareness, competence, consistency, and efficiencies throughout DLA while managing the relationship between DLA and Information Technology (IT) vendors whose products have become strategic enablers of DLA's business process.
Ms. Williams joined government service in 2009 after serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy. In the federal sector, she has served in various IT program management roles, including Deputy Program Manager for Distributed Continuity Information Network – Top Secret (DCIN-TS), Application Development Chief for DLA’s ERP and Business Financial Manager/Assistant Program Manager for Integrated Data Environment (IDE)/Global Transportation Network (GTC) Convergence (IGC).
Prior to federal service, Ms. Williams served as an active duty Naval Supply Corps Officer on the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67), Strategic Systems Programs, and Joint Forces Command, Naples, Italy. She also served as an Air Traffic Controller, stationed in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia and in Rota, Spain. Ms. Williams graduated from University of Maryland and holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, and National Resource Strategy. She is a distinguished graduate of the Eisenhower School, National Defense University.
