The Marine Corps pays almost three times as much to move a vehicle for a permanent change of station as the Army does. The Government Accountability Office found the military is spending more on PCS moves even though the forces are actually making fewer reassignments. Retired Navy Adm. The Government Accountability Office finds more problems with the Marine Corps' 2012 financial audit. The Defense Department's Office of Inspector General didn't go through the right procedures or find the right evidence to support a clean financial audit opinion in fiscal 2012.
