The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology is working on a new Web site to allow personal health record providers to provide consumers with details about privacy, security, information and management so they can better understand and utilize PHRs. Once the site is up and running, the ONC says it will get feedback and test the public’s understanding of the Web site through sessions at six sites across the country. Once the testing sessions are done in October, the ONC will retool the Web site to incorporate the suggestions from the public.
