If you had a choice between checking a health Web site or connecting with your own doctor, which would you choose? Chances are, you’d prefer your own doctor. Many people see technology as their friend when it comes to managing their own health. A new survey found almost four in five Americans say the idea of using technology to help solve their health care needs is inviting – not intimidating. Most say they are ready to use technology and would be open to emailing, text messaging, video conferencing and even IM-ing with doctors and insurance companies
