A Virginia hospital is getting ready to roll out a fully integrated clinical and revenue management information technology system. Once the system is integrated, doctors will be able to review patient status and document their evaluations and assessments. That information will then become part of an integrated patient record, which will allow doctors from all specialties to evaluate and manage patients’ progress. The technology will also help staff control patient charts online and streamline the billing process.
