Is paperwork preventing you from scheduling an annual checkup with your doctor? According to a new IBM study, one out of every four Americans haven’t scheduled a wellness visit in the last year because of paperwork. Thirty-three percent said they haven’t seen their doc in the past five years because they waste time filling out repetitive paperwork. And 70 percent of those who had gone to an ER in the past year said more access, like the ability to contact doctors after hours, could avoid unnecessary hospital visits.
