Jonathan Allen is a political reporter at Congressional Quarterly, where he has covered House and Senate leadership, electons, the federal budget and numerous other issues.

He is a winner of the 2008 Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting of Congress and the 2008 Sandy Hume Memorial award given to journalists under 35.

He is a frequent guest on television and radio programs and appears Friday nights with Jane Norris as a panelist on News Channel 8.
