There are a lot of opinions on how the defense procurement process could be reformed. The House Armed Services Committee has formed a bi-partisan panel to deal with the issue, and there is a bill already circulating in the Senate on acquisition reform. President Barack Obama also made headlines last week when he issued an order about defense procurement. John Palguta is Vice President for Policy at the Partnership for Public Service and says the recent action could affect the size of the acquisition staff at your agency.
