Federal agencies were on the front lines responding to the H1N1 swine flu virus. A congressional committee yesterday examined whether those in charge did enough to protect workers responding to the disease. Congressman Stephen Lynch of Massachusetts is the Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on the Federal Workforce, Postal Service, and the District of Columbia. He tells Federal News Radio that he will begin working on legislation to fix the problems addressed at the hearing.
