At any given time, 12.3 million people are forced into sexual exploitation and labor. Human trafficking happens in virtually every country, including the United States. The State Department is teaming up with the Washington Nationals to kick off DC’s Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Ambassador Luis CdeBaca, Director of the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons at the State Department, joins us with more on the event.
