You’ve heard of software as a service and infrastructure as a service. Well, how about malware as a service? It’s true! Botnet attacks have moved to the cloud as a service for sale. That takes botnet attacks, a common cyber threat, to new levels of organization, according to Damballa. The new service is thought to be infecting 10,000 victims a day.
