Australia struggling against cyber attacks

A new report finds the country\'s government response to attacks is outpaced by the number of hacks

Australia is facing what some are calling a ‘cybersecurity crisis.’ The Herald Sun in Australia says that country’s government cannot keep up with all the hack attacks. A report to be released by The Kokoda Foundation says Australia has reached what it calls a tipping point where the current trajectory of cyber responses is being rapidly outpaced by the evolving threat. It warns that the threat could endanger critical infrastructure such as electricity grids, water storage and distribution, aviation and maritime transport and telecommunications networks.
