Cyber attacks may pose the greatest emerging threat to states and federal databases says Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley. He shared his concerns during a cyber panel at the annual National Governors Association meeting. O’Malley says stronger cybersecurity measures need to be put in place to protect voter registration, and driver’s license and tax databases. Infosecurity reports last week the National Association of State Chief Information Officers called on the NGA to to take action in beefing up State cybersecurity.
