More than 260 service members were discharged under the Pentagon’s outgoing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy in the 2010 fiscal year. The numbers were released Thursday by the group Servicemembers United.
Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was formally repealed in December 2010. The Huffington Post reports the number of dismissals was the lowest annual total in the 14-year old policy’s history.
