The best defense against cyber attacks isn’t always new technology, but strict human security procedures. So says Lt. Gen. Michael Basla. He’s the Vice Commander of Air Force Space Command and spoke at a cyber-war conference last week. DODBuzz reports he says the best cyberspace defense comes from trained people and disciplined processes. Basla says the solid training allows professionals to properly using technology to defend information. He adds the Air Force needs to streamline its networks and standardize training on them.
