Federal executives wanting to boost their management and leadership skills — and get a Masters degree — can look to a new destination: Saint Louis, home of Washington University.
A partnership between the Brookings Institution and Wash U offers a way to obtain a Masters of Science in Leadership as well as a way to expand your personal network.
Jackson Nickerson, the associate dean and director of Brookings Executive Education, joined the Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris to discuss the program. As he pointed out, there’s some history behind the partnership.
Nickerson called the partnership “a reunion of old friends with a common benefactor.” Robert S. Brookings, who founded the Brookings Institution, was also the chancellor of Washington University for more than two decades.
