It’s hard to imagine working in a federal office, or any office, and not staring at a monitor full of Microsoft applications. They’ve looked pretty much the same for a generation — even through all of the upgrades.
But cloud computing, mobility, texting and social media mean new tools will dominate office work in the future.
Greg Myers, Microsoft’s new vice president for federal sales, joined the Federal Drive with his view of the next generation.
Myers shared what office “productivity” will look like in the future as well as what federal customers have told Microsoft they’re looking for.
