Congress is upping the pressure for agencies to change what they pay for contractor salaries. The Senate passed a proposal last week that caps taxpayer-funded compensation for all contracting employees at $400,000.

This bill, however, would hurt contractors’ ability to recruit the best talent to work on government contracts, said Trey Hodgkins, senior vice president for procurement policy at TechAmerica, in an interview with The Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris.
