Changing Internet terminology may help to protect your computers.

Could changing the terminology help keep your computers safe? That’s the thinking behind one theory about using terms like e-health, e-commerce and cybersecurity.

Technology Spectator reports that as long as people separate their Internet lives from their regular lives, they’re leaving themselves at risk, and limiting their own thinking. Instead of thinking of the Internet as some special, separate place, the theory goes, just drop the “e.” It isn’t e-commerce. It is just commerce. And, it isn’t cybersecurity, it is “security.”

Cybercrime is still crime and the criminals live in the physical world.
