Military and civilian human resources professionals are in Arlington today to learn about how technology can help them make the most out of their shrinking resources. They’ll also be discussing efforts to hire veterans and more. Monster Government Solutions is sponsoring the 2012 Human Capital Management Defense Conference.

“You need to start at the very front end, when you’re talking about recruiting,” said, Susan Fallon, vice president of business development at Monster and the chairperson of today’s events. She joined reporter Emily Kopp on The Federal Drive with Tom Temin to discuss what people are telling her at the conference.

“We’re hearing across the board both from the civilian sector, not only the military recruiting side as well as the private sector, is that you really have to be looking at enterprise across the board,” Fallon said. “How do we put systems in place that are really servicing everyone?”
