India leads in personal computer security, study says

India outstripped the United States, China, Japan and Singapore for personal computer security, according to a recent study by McAfee.

India outstripped the United States, China, Japan and Singapore for personal computer security, according to a recent study by McAfee. However, Internet penetration in India is much lower than the other top-rated countries

McAfee analyzed computer security in 24 countries. It found that, globally, 17 percent of personal computer users have no virus protection on their computers at all.
