What They Think of You
Learning about the public’s perception of the Federal government was the goal of “In The Public We Trust,” a new report from the Partnership for Public Service. Their Vice President of Research, Bob Lavigna, told me about what was in the report.
Diversifying the SES
The numbers show the Federal government is doing much better at making the Senior Executive Service more diverse. The numbers are included in a new Government Accountability Office report, “Diversity in The SES and Processes for Selecting New Executives.” George Stalcup of the GAO explained those numbers, and the progress agencies are making.
TARP Talk
The House Financial Services Committee called for testimony about a new GAO report on the Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) from Acting Comptroller General Gene Dodaro, and Interim Assistant Secretary for Financial Stability and Assistant Secretary for International Affairs Neel Kashkari.
