Fort Hood, Texas, is getting something from the Stimulus Bill: 621 million dollars for a new military hospital. Fort Hood has outgrown the Carl Darnall Army Medical Center, built in the days of Vietnam, and originally supported the base when it was home to 17 thousand troops. Army Colonel Casper Jones the third says the new facility will help to consolidate the post’s behavioral health programs, now scattered across Fort Hood. I’m Max Cacas.
