Every four years, the Pentagon is tasked to produce a Quadrennial Defense Review.

A big component of the forthcoming review will be the disposition of US forces overseas.

The Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General James Cartwright, talked about the QDR and what it will mean for acquisition and procurement.

His remarks came at a meeting of the Military Strategy Forum, hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
