Former Homeland Security Advisor Townsend Talks About Challenges

The safety of the homeland continues to be on the mind of former White House Homeland Security Advisor Frances Townsend. She participated in a discussion on the subject at the Heritage Foundation yesterday. She covered a wide range of topics: information sharing – especially between federal agencies and state and local agencies; the homeland security work force; and cybersecurity as a homeland security function.
