HUBZone confusion may/shall end

Who should get first preference for contracts? A new law should help figure that out. Venable\'s Rob Burton explains it for us.

Small business set-asides have been part of federal contracting for decades. But with so many classes of small, disadvantaged companies, contracting officers have often been confused over how to proceed. A law enacted last month clarifies the status of HUBZone companies. And now at least one Senator wants to reform policy towards Alaska Native Corporations. Joining us to sort it all out is Rob Burton of the Venable Law Firm, and former top procurement official.
