The Office of Personnel Management has dramatically cut the average time it takes to hire a new employee.

Agencies still are about 20 days away from the government-wide goal. OPM expects a set of new initiatives to help further bring down that time.

Reporting from the Executive Leadership Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia, Federal News Radio’s Jason Miller joined the DorobekINSIDER with details of the hiring change.
