OPM plan cuts hiring time

Federal News Radio\'s Jason Miller joined the DorobekINSIDER to discuss OPM\'s plans to cut down agencies\' hiring time.

The Office of Personnel Management has dramatically cut the average time it takes to hire a new employee.

Agencies still are about 20 days away from the government-wide goal. OPM expects a set of new initiatives to help further bring down that time.
