An International Cyber Range for realistic assessments of cyberwarfare scenarios is being developed.
You’ve heard of firing ranges where people go to hone their shooting skills. Well, how about a cyber security range? A Florida company is starting up what it calls a cyber range where organizations can go to practice cyber warfare scenarios. UPI reports Sypris Electronics President John Walsh says the center is designed for the U.S. and allies to accelerate new cyber initiatives. He says the range will be an international training ground offering realistic cyber warfare environments. The range will tap into the expertise of academic and other cyber security experts.
