It’s aimed at Windows PCs used by the military in those countries. The unified golden master standardizes the configuration of the PCs and ensures they have the latest patches. Staff in the Combined Joint Operations Area begin using the disk over the next few months. By having users install software from the disks themselves, scarce technical staff in war zones can concentrate on other issues.
