It is going to take longer than expected to fix that Lockheed hack. Computer security firm RSA says it is only offering to replace about a third of its SecurID tokens. The Wall Street Journal reports it could take months for RSA to swap out the tokens for its entire user base. While the company tries to figure out logistics, it has more than 25-thousand customers trying to figure out how to protect their systems. Rival company SafeNet is starting a program to allow federal government and defense contractors to swap out their RSA tokens for free SafeNet tokens.
